In this lecture, Alessandro de Poloni vividly conveys the exciting topic of optogenetics and reports, among other things, on how targeted manipulation on humans is possible by means of genetically modified cells through remotely controlled light signals.
In context, Alessandro de Poloni notes that the three-dimensional reality in which we live is the projection of a deeper reality. In doing so, he intensely pursues this topic, borrowing from the latest research in neuroscience, which postulates, like Stanford University quantum physicist Karl Pribram, that the human brain is in fact a holographic representation. Furthermore, he supports in content the scientific publication of the Vienna University of Technology, which confirms the validity of the correspondence principle in a flat universe. This, in turn, ultimately leads to the realization that the three-dimensional universe known to us is a projection of a deeper reality, that is, a hologram.
Accordingly, the three-dimensional universe in which we live is a hologram created from an original reality that lies outside of time and space. So if our universe is a copy of something real, then it also makes sense to assume that our true self belongs to another reality. Accordingly, our consciousness represents our being. Thus, there is nothing else but consciousness, since everything that is, is consciousness. But what does this mean for our life?
Alessandro de Poloni gives interactive and not entirely without humor answers to questions both from (spirit-)scientific, psychological and own experience view.
